The bottom one is what we finally decided on for the monster upgrade screen- replacing putting blocks into a bar with squirting liquid all over monsters seems like a lot more fun 🙂

    i’ve noticed that the games resolution is at 155×88 pixels. I think for a proper 16:9 resolution you could use 160×90 pixels or maybe you did that on purpose? Anyway… this is good stuff, very inspirational.

      thanks Mitch- yeah our menu resolutions have developed in a messy way (i like to think organic, but more likely just absent-minded) which has resulted in the weird res- that might be neatened up at some point, i’m not really sure… also we are using pixel art elements of different resolutions on some screens which further confuses things and makes photoshop mockups a bit more of a headache
