Description

Powerhoof is a two man independent games studio, located in Melbourne, Australia. Barney Cumming does the art and animation, and David Lloyd handles programming. Their first project is Crawl - The dungeon crawler where your friends control the monsters. Crawl was released on early access in August 2014, and they've been busy since, adding more features and content to the dungeons.

History

Before Powerhoof

Both Barney and David had around 7 years experience in the Australian games industry before starting Powerhoof. They worked closely on and off during that period across multiple studios.

Most recently they both worked at Firemonkeys where they worked on titles Flight Control, Sims Free Play, Spy Mouse, Real Racing and Mass Effect Infiltrator.

They then quit all that freemium silliness and started Powerhoof at the beginning of March 2013.

Since Then

Since starting Powerhoof, Barney and David have built up a catalog of prototypes and ideas, before concentrating on the development of Crawl.
