I like the slim and clumsy swamp-ogre-undead-like-thing at the bottom, with the mossy stuff on its hunchback. Ha, wait a minute – are those reddish and slobbery swinging pixels supposed to be … nipps?*

I just love how the skeleton is trademarked a pirate now thanks to stumpt xD honestly to me it looks more like a gladiator, but I can definitly see why you can look at it as a pirate too ^^
yeaaaah I see the hat, but to me, it just looks more like a gladiator because of the shield ^^ the other things are: his wooden leg = leg armor, his hat: a open helmet, even when the rest of the world tells me it´s a pirat, for me he will always be a gladiator ^^
😀 yeah it’s fun watching peoples different interpretations of the pixels- there’s a lot to be said for leaving that room for imagination, and usually people imagine details much cooler than i was planning 🙂
you know i actually never decided myself if those were horns growing form his head or if he was wearing some weird crown thing with gold horns on it 🙂 i guess it’s up to you!
the intention is a wild shaman/witchdoctor creature… maybe with some kind of voodoo powers…

Barney, if you were against David in a game of crawl, who would win? The other two players would have some sort of AI. Also, at about what time will the game come out? My party starts at 6:30 EST. Will that be ok?
haha well dave has been beating me a lot recently- while playing against the bots i developed a fancy new technique for the boss, but when i try to use it against dave he always fakes me out making me do my trick too early and he kicks my ass!
definitely need to adjust my strategy!
as for the exact time EST i’m actually not quite sure what the deal is with steam- does it launch soon as the clock passes midnight to the new day? i should be able to figure it out and get back to you!
Barney, you and David should do a video of you guys playing crawl on the last day of the release or something like that. It would be AWESOME! (btw like what you did with kourok and humanity stolen thing awesome!)
i did download some streaming software a while back and did a capture test to get the hang of it, but I still have no idea what I’m doing with that stuff til I do a propper live test 🙂
gah, it would be fun to give it a try- pribably not going to happen hehe but I’m nearly finished the trailer, so when that’s done I might have time to test some real streaming and see if it works okay!

Do you guys ever think this will be co-op also rather than just Local co-op? I really wanted to play this with a friend… but I can’t (different countries). It would be sooooooo cool. Games awesome nonetheless.
we’re definitely looking into it! online play is a big feature so it might take quite a while with such a small studio, but we would love to bring the game to people who don’t have access to friends in the same room!
